Max's personality

Max will officially be 7 months old in 2 days, and his personality is starting to show; it's definitely quite easy to tell what sort of baby he is.

So..................what sort of baby is The Max? What is The Max's personality?

Mom's answer: The first word that comes to mind is peaceful. Max is definitely a fairly easygoing kid. Yeah, he definitely had a fussy period around 1-2 months old, but since then, he has really developed into a very even-tempered baby. He rarely fusses, and is pretty content to just sit and chillax (but not for too long because he's got "important" things to do, or so he thinks). He's also a very happy baby. Sometimes this does not show in the pictures because he gets mesmerized by the camera and stops smiling, but he really is a very happy and giggly baby. I would also say he is very inquisitive and curious; he loves to examine things thoroughly and tries very hard to get to things not in his reach so that he can examine them (and then put them in his mouth). I cannot count the number of times complete strangers have walked up to me or Brandon and commented on how "alert" and "observant" Max is. Finally, I would also say that Max is very eager to please. It's so cute to see him playing with a toy and then look up and smile at me in such a way as to say, "See what I'm doing, Mommy!"

Obviously he is young now and his personality will continue to grow and change. I do hope he keeps Brandon's calmness and peacefulness; that's definitely something that makes being a mom to the Max fairly easy. I wonder if he'll get my sarcastic sense of humor. Hmmmm....what do I want him to get of my personality, you ask? I'm not sure, but if I had to say, I hope he will get my sense of love and care for all creatures. I know it sounds cheesey, but I hope he'll be like his momma and pick up an injured butterfly and place the butterfly somewhere peaceful and quiet and safe to rest. I hope he'll reach down and place the caterpillar off of the sidewalk. Cheesey, I know, but it's the way I am.

Dad's answer: Dad pretty much agrees with Mom. Max is definitely easy-going, and rarely fusses. When he does, it's usually pretty fake, and doesn't take much to make his short cries turn into laughs. So, then, does that make him bipolar?

He is also very inquisitive. I've never seen a baby that likes to examine things as much as Max does. He was doing it from the day he was born. I hope he continues to be as inquisitive as he is. It makes for a kid that likes to learn, and I really hope Max loves to learn.

All in all, Max is just a good, happy, easy-going, curious kid.

It was so nice to see all of you especially Max. He is such a bundle of joy. He was so good being around so many strange looking people. We all just enjoyed him. After 30 minutes when you all left to return home, I absolutely missed him and his smile.

I love seeing Max grow in his blog, it's almost like being there, not quite, but almost. you tell such interesting details about him, I almost feel like I've already seen and held him.
I love you,
Grandma

Grandma didn't reread what she said. "I can't wait to see Max and you and Brandon, too"
