Max's first.....earthquake!!!!!

April 18, 2007 4:37 AM
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, Max woke up about 10-15 minutes before the earthquake, going WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! So, either the kid has ESP or something OR (and this is the more likely scenario) he's teething and he just happened to wake up 10 minutes before a 5.4 earthquake hit and shook the entire house.

Brandon and I were trying to ignore Max's crying when the earthquake hit. Neither one of us had any idea what it was--we actually thought it was a big storm and wind or something that shook the house. Max did not like the shaking and told us so. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

He went back to bed (eventually), but I'm not sure either Brandon or I did.

So exciting.

What happens when you eat popcorn and protein bars during pregnancy?

You get a child who loves nothing more than to get into crap.

Max is ALL OVER THE PLACE lately. I swear he's going to be walking any day. He can pull himself up and take a few steps while holding on to something, and he is trying desperately to get from one place to the other no matter how dangerous the route.

He's out of control already.

Where's Maury when you need him?

****

And a side note: don't ever take Max out and give him mashed potatoes. He thinks they are for finger painting and flinging around the restaurant.
